First Lieutenant Ni is an assistant logistics officer with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines. He was commissioned into the Marine Corps Reserve in November 2020 and is currently serving on active duty as part of his professional development tour. He holds a degree in aerospace engineering from UCLA and is an engineer for Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
